Arnold Canez Escoboza Jr. Arnold Canez Escoboza Jr. began his army career as an infantryman in Ft. Benning, GA , where he graduated from basic training, Airborne School Academy and Ranger Indoctrination Program. He then served as Team Sergeant with the Long Range Surveillance Detachment 125th Miliatary Intelligence Battalion in Hawaii. Then, he was an Infantry Squad Trainer/Observer Controller at the Joint Readiness Training Center in Ft. Polk, LA. He took part in Operation Desert Focus in Saudi Arabia as a platoon sergeant with Rakkasans 101st Airborne Division. He returned to the National Training Center in Ft. Irwin, CA, where he was a platoon trainer until he retired with 20 years of service. Escoboza was awarded 21 medals and completed numerous airborne service schools. . |
