Bibiano V. Morales

B.V. Morales entered the service in May, 1943, and attended Jump School at Fort Benning, Georgia. He also completed advanced infantry training with hand-to-hand combat bayonet drills and bazooka anti-tank measures. He transferred to Fort Sill Oklahoma, for Glider Artillery on CG4A's.

He shipped out of New York by ship to the Replacement Depot at Sheffield, England. He received more training on 57mm and 75mm recoile rifles and was assigned to 464 Parachute Field Artillery Battalion. Attached to General Miley's 17th Airborne Division, he fought in combat during operation code name Varsity and was deactivated September, 1945.

He reenlisted with the 7th Army Occupational Forces in Germany.

B.V. is also an active member of MAPA and other associations in Tucson.
