Pete Jimenez

Pete joined the army September 1955 and received basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Upon release from active duty in April 1956, he joined the Army Reserves.

Pete married his high school sweetheart Sandi on August 1, 1956.

In December 1960, he graduated from 5th Army N.C.O. Academy at Fort Carson, CO. He went to jump school at Fort Benning, GA, and graduated in January 1966.

Pete was promoted to 1st Sergeant in April, 1972. Upon retirement from active Army Reserve on September 1987, he was awarded the Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
