Tommy Fuentes

S. Sgt. Thomas Fuentes entered the service at Fort Bliss, TX, April 12, 1946. After completing basic training there, he went to parachute school at Yamamoto Sendai, Japan, and qualified parachutist, October 4, 1946.

Tommy served with the 11th Airborne Division Battery A 152nd A/B AA Battalion and and Company H 187th P/G Infantry Regiment, as well as with 82nd Airborne Division, Hq & Hq Company 1st Battalion 325th A/B Infantry Regiment.

He was in foreign service 2 years, 2 months and 14 days. He also served six years in the New Mexico National Guard. Tommy also became the Commander of the Mexican American Paratroopers Association - Tucson, AZ, on May 22,1994.
